Dr. David Sollberger

David graduated as an Osteopath from RMIT University in 2003 and has worked as an osteopath in both Melbourne and country Victoria.  David has substantial osteopathic experience from working in a variety of different clinics and mainly from owning his practice in Bunyip for five years. Furthermore, to David’s clinical experience, he worked as a clinical supervisor at RMIT in 2007/08 mentoring students with-in the student clinic.

 

David has a strong desire to help people and, in his quest to understand the everyday stresses that his patients face, he has further completed studies in counselling to improve his holistic approach to osteopathic care for his patients. Consequently, David believes this has helped him integrate the body, mind and soul into his treatment approach to ensure the highest level of care while treating.

 

Being married and a father of four beautiful children has given him the desire for treating families of all generations. David’s passion lies with-in treating patients of all demographics, from babies to the elderly, weekend warriors to the professional athletes, tradies to the stay at home mums.

David endeavours to provide excellent osteopathic health care whilst building a trusting professional relationship with his patients. He enjoys the challenges of working with patients experiencing chronic pain conditions. David realises that to work through the difficulties presented with those suffering from headaches, lower back, pelvic-girdle, and neck pain, he must integrate a variety of techniques that are best suited to help them.

 

Sport is an integral part of David’s life; David has treated the Vic Metro U18 Basketball team for four years and spent three years as an osteopath aiding the Bunyip and Garfield Football Clubs. To keep up with his kids, David enjoys playing netball and running, allowing him to stay in tip top shape. David is also the Sports Chaplain at the Pakenham Football and Netball Clubs as well as being involved with the Pakenham Baptist Church. If you thought David couldn’t possibly fit anything else into his life, secretly he has been known to be a children’s magician on special occasions.

 

David enjoys treating and helping his patients through their health journey, empowering them to make good choices regarding their health. David is excited to return to Berwick Osteopathy, working towards providing excellent manual therapy and high standards of healthcare.
